Down by the lakes? You may be thinking of grass polo or bike ball. They have played near the lakes before. We play hardcourt bike polo. We play a number of places. Check the map for reference. Games are usually announced on Twitter or on Minneapolis Bike Love. Come down and give it a try. Just bring a bike, we always have extra mallets.

Last fall I moved to MPLS, largely because the bike culture here is so excellent. Last night I was out for a ride when I happened on a game of bike polo near the lakes. All I could think was I HAVE TO DO THIS. Please tell me more about any practices or pick up games. Thanks.
