Three ways to get your hardcourt bike polo fill this week. Thursday and Sunday we will be playing at McRae park. 5-7pm and 2-6pm respectively.
On Saturday there will be a beginner’s session at Corcoran Park from 1-3pm. Please come down and learn or teach. It’ll be a hoot.

Its been a warm March here in Minneapolis. A majority of days have been warmer than average and if we go six more days without snow this will be the first March on record. Records dating back to 1840.
This past Sunday Matt Sepeta a friend and roommate of Jonny Freewheel came down with his camera and came up with some stellar photos. Check out this gallery of 70+ photos on his web site.

Minneapolis Bike Polo had a great time playing non stop polo in Chicago. Saturday was a little rainy but that didn’t stop 40 some people from running non stop games for 7+ hours.
Sunday was sunny and beautiful. Thanks to everyone that converged for Chris’ birthday weekend. Minneapolis had a blast thanks in part to Rob’s excellent hospitality.
Can’t wait to bring all these players to Minneapolis in May for the Midwest Bike Polo Championships.

Milwaukee, Madison, Minneapolis, Columbia and a few maybe cities will be in attendance.

Not too much to report from Minneapolis. Planning is coming along nicely for MWBPC8, the snow is beginning to melt and old friends lost to the winter are starting to come back to play.

This weekend is the annual Stupor Bowl alleycat. What does that mean to the poloverse? Out of town polo players, that’s what.
Join us at the Nomad on Friday night for pre-reg and then come play Polo with us downtown. We will be playing at the garage. When and for how long depends on getting 6 people rounded up to play. So far we have a few from Milwaukee comitted to playing.

A van of Minneapolis poloists will be heading to St. Louis the weekend of January 16th for the St. Louis Dead of Winter Indoor Lock-in. 23 hours of pick up polo in a roller rink. Its going to be wicked fun.
